What Margren is showing us is that in this age of digital reference our professional identity should be more than a resume. Given that most employers will start with an online search. A Google search should reflect not only where you have been and what you’ve accomplished but where you want to go.
Where should my portfolio take someone?
After nearly a decade of creating an online presence for a small, D2 athletic program, I have produce an established online presence for that program. As with most programs, none of that content can be attributed to my creative process and work. My online portfolio will contain examples of the body work I did professionally as an Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations.
